it’s 2026 and the present administration is stripping Away our rights with the assistance of the supreme court.

We were lucky to keep birthright citizenship, but make no mistake about it, the extreme right is pushing to take away every right they can to advance a fascist and authoritarian regime in america.

there is a strong push for a new constitutional convention and we should all be on board.

Black & Indigenous people were largely enslaved during the constitutional convention of 1787. and during that convention, the three-fifths compromise was born.

the north, largely postured as anti-slavery in history books we teach, was ok with enslaved people being considered as 3/5th a person for the sake of establishing congress and voter rights. Black and indigenous people were dehumanized to adjust for population density.

we must ensure equal representation at the next constitutional convention. black & indigenous people and women must all be present.

America’s future cannot be decided without equal representation.

if we keep letting poor actors legislate our freedom and our humanity, they will legislate our bodies, all bodies, for the remainder of time.
